Аннотация:A giant negative magnetoresistance (24% in magnetic field of 39 kOe)has been found in the antiferromagnetic semiconductors xCoCr2S4 - (1-x)CuCr1.5Sb0.5S4 (0.25 <= x <=0.5). Magnetoresistance is practically absent in CuCr1,5Sb0.5S4 and does not exceed 2% in CoCr2S4. The compound CuCr1,5Sb0.5S4 and compounds with Co differ radically in the value of paramagnetic Curie temperature teta: teta - -156 K for the former and 45 K <= teta <= 109 K for the latter. The giant magnetoresistance and the positive value of teta are evidence for the exictence of afmons in compounds with Co.
