Аннотация:The article concerns the process of digitalization of education in the context of the analysis of the personal safety
problem. The aim of the study was to assess the impact of digitalization of education on a person in terms of its
safety and to diagnose emerging challenges in education related to accelerated digital transition in 2020. The
empirical sources for the study were as following: an expert survey of teachers, focus group interviews, and an
online survey with teachers of general and vocational education schools. The results of the conducted empirical
and theoretical research allowed the author to identify the key problems that arise on the way to digitalization of
education, to systematize them and to put forward recommendations to reverse negative scenarios. The obtained
results can be used by researchers of digital society issues, teachers, administrators of information networks, and
information security specialists in education.
