Аннотация:A model describing the asymmetric giant magnetoimpedance in field-annealed amorphous ribbons is proposed. It is assumed that the ribbon consists of an inner amorphous core and surface hard magnetic crystalline layers. The coupling between the core and the surface layers is described through an effective bias field. The calculated field and frequency dependences of the impedance are shown to be in qualitative agreement withthe results of experimental studies of the high-frequency asymmetric giant magnetoimpedance in field-annealed amorphous ribbons.
