Аннотация:The article suggests a means of modelling social relationships based on the analysis of social bonds dynamics and mechanisms of social groups formation. A group is the cornerstone of this approach, being defined in terms of social bonds density among individuals constituting it. A number of conditions for the formation of social bonds are set, taking into account innate individual parameters, such as aggression, sociality, and cognitive abilities, along with those acquired during the lifetime – cultural, religious, linguistic, national, etc. Confrontational and cooperative patterns of individual and group behaviour are also considered. Applied within short time frames, the suggested approach and models on its basis can serve for predicting conflicts in interdisciplinary and international science projects, including large technological projects with the use of nanotechnologies. Observed over longer time periods, social groups can become an object for research of social relationships evolution in general, including becoming a basis for modelling human civilisations evolution.Key words: social groups, modelling, social bonds dynamics, social evolution, social conflicts.
