Аннотация:The adsorption properties of DG-100 technical carbon modified with poly(vinyl acetate) (PVA) (M = 190000) and F-1 polyarylate (M = 58000) were studied by gas chromatography. Organic substances with different electron-acceptor and electron-donor properties were used as adsorbates. It was revealed that the deposition of 0.2 to 0.9 mg/m(2) these polymers on the surface of DG-100 results in a decrease in the values of specific retention volume for n-alkanes, especially significant for PVA. When DG-100 technical carbon was modified with PVA and F-1, the heat of adsorption of n-alkanes decreased and increased, respectively. It was inferred that molecules of the polymers under study were arranged at the adsorbent surface in different ways, It was also established that electron-acceptor and electron-donor interactions play an important role in the adsorption of polar adsorbates.
