northwardi nterplanetarym agneticf ield, the magnetopausaez imuthalc urrentsi n these
layers are antiparallel: a currentc arriedb y magnetosheathio ns flows from noon to dusk,
and a currentc reatedb y magnetospheriico ns is directedf rom noon to dawn. In this case,
due to the rotationo f magneticf ield causedb y two antiparallecl urrentsa, negatives pike
in the northwardc omponenot f the magneticf ield Bz arisesa t the magnetopauseT. his
