Surface plasmon resonance enhanced second and third harmonic generation of intense near-IR femtosecond laser with periodic microtip metal structureтезисы доклада

Аннотация:Enhancing ultrafast nonlinear processes at a micro- and nanometer scale has the potential of creating sources of energetic particles with intense IR femtosecond lasers, useful for such applications as the development of directional IR photodetectors. Recently, on the basis of a polymer film with regular flogging, we have obtained a new type of metal near – surface 2D microstructures, which are micro-tips oriented normally to the substrate – a semi-infinite metal layer. This periodic metal nano- and microstructured targets prospective for IR frequency range in view of plasmon resonance condition production that leads to high energy coupling, enhancing local field accompanying increasing of optical harmonics generation efficiency.
