Аннотация:The ability of improving the protective properties of layers formed on zinc in the presence ofsodium dodecylphosphonate (SDDP) by trialkoxysilanes (TAS) of different structures has been studied, alsoby means of the method of layer-by-layer passivation. It has been shown that the efficiency of zinc protectionagainst corrosion in a chloride-containing solution and a humid atmosphere is higher at the combined use ofSDDP with TAS than at the use of individual corrosion inhibitors (CI). The optimal (in terms of anticorrosiveefficiency) conditions for production of thin coatings on zinc in the presence of these CI, namely, 40°C, stirring of the solution, and layer-by-layer application of CI, have been revealed. It has been determined that, during layer-by-layer passivation with SDDP, the nature of TAS had a great effect on the protective propertiesof thin films and the sequence of their formation. It has been shown that the layer-by-layer treatment of zincby SDDP with octyltriethoxysilane, which provided the highest hydrophobicity of its surface, was the mosteffective at inhibition of the anodic dissolution of the zinc electrode in a chloride-containing aqueous solution and corrosion in a humid atmosphere.
