Аннотация:Interleukin-1-beta (IL-1-β) is one of the main cytokines produced by the tumor microenvironment. Overexpression of the cytokine leads to increased angiogenesis, metastasis, activation of myeloid suppressor cells, a change in the antitumor immunity of T-regulatory cells towards immunosuppression. For some tumors, elevated serum IL-1-β levels was shown to be associated with a poor prognosis. Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) is also associated with the progression of the disease. The aim of the study was to analyze the relationship between the serum level of IL-1-β and the number of peripheral blood leukocytes
