Аннотация:The effect of epinephrine in various concentrations and dopamine at a concentration of 10^-10 mol/ml on thebehavior of Paramecium caudatum was studied. It is shown that adrenaline reduces motor activity and changesthe movement strategy of these protozoa, there is a dose-dependent behavioral response from the concentrationof the drug. The effect can be explained by the presence of adrenaline receptors located on the surface ofthe cell membrane. To study the direct effect of adrenaline on alpha and beta adrenoreceptors, the effect ofnon-selective adrenoblockers nicergoline and timolol is considered in this paper. At the same time, dopamineat a concentration of 10^-10 mol/ml does not have a significant effect on the nature and magnitude of motoractivity during the entire registration time, since it does not have receptors for this mediator. The proposedmethod allows us to quickly and objectively assess the nature of the effects of various pharmacological agentsacting on the catecholamine system.
