Аннотация:Magnetoplasmonic crystals represent a special class of hybrid structures consisting of one-dimensional periodic diffraction grating combined with a ferromagnetic layer. Magnetoplasmonic crystals are functional materials, which can be used for high precision magnetic sensors, given that their magneto-optical activity is enhanced by the plasmon resonance. Sensitivity and magnetic field range of such sensors strongly depend on magnetic properties of magnetoplasmonic crystals. Here, we analyse magnetic properties of iron/silver magnetoplasmonic crystals depending on geometrical parameters of the diffraction grating, as well as on the ferromagnetic layer thickness. As a result, we demonstrate an efficient way to control magnetic properties of magnetoplasmonic crystals.
