Аннотация:Elastography is a combination of methods of oncological examination of tissues in medicine, based on differences in the elastic properties of healthy and tumor tissues. For example, it is well known that the Young'smodulus of tumor tissue is several times larger than the Young's modulus of healthy tissue. Usually, any of the methods of elastography can be divided into 3 stages of the study: (i) compression of tissues by external sources;(ii) measurement or calculating the displacement field of the investigated biological tissue; (iii) the calculation of the elastic properties of the tissue by solving the inverse problem. In this talk, we consider a quasistatic approach to elastography, in which a three-dimensional inverse problem is solved for an isotropic linearly elastic body under small surface compressions. In this case, we have a system of stationary partial differential equations, describing the relationship between tissue displacements and elastic properties of the tissue, that is Young's modulus and Poisson’s ratio. To solve the problem, a special algorithm is proposed and justified.
