Аннотация:International prefixes and prefixoids in the era of globalization(Russian language studies)The present article is concerned with new derivatives describing up-to-date combinations of denotations by means of international derivational formants, those of Greek and Latin origin, as well as their original Russian synonyms such as post-, trans-, psuedo-, quasi-, anti-, sverkh- (over-), lzhe- (fake) and others). The given prefixes and prefixoids appear highly active in Russian and other Slavic languages. Nouns derived with their help can express new combinations of denotations (for example, in such words as antiuchebnik (antischoolbook), postnauka (postscience), transkultura (transculture), giperreal’nost’ (hyperreality) etc.), thus reflecting changes in the world and their interpretations. The formants studied here often get closer semantically, forming synonymic derivatives, which express non-compliance with the norm, for example pseudonauka (pseudoscience), quasinauka (quasiscience), nenauka (non-science), lzhenauka (pseudoscience / fake science), antinauka (antiscience). Derived nouns bearing the prefix anti- are studied more closely, as well as those formed from the word real’nost’ (reality): giperreal’nost’ (hyperreality), irreal’nost’ (irreality), antireal’nost’ (antireality), superreal’nost’ (superreality), postreal’nost’ (postreality). A new type of semantic correlation between the stem and the formant is being analyzed. It is not based on the integration of their conceptual frameworks but on such a relation where the formant completely changes the basic conceptual characteristics of the motivational nouns.
