Аннотация:This article analyses the problem of perception of urban space in the exegesis of the 12th century through the reflection about the ascetic ideal of the Church. The closer inquiry into the theological works, attributed to the representatives of the monastic theology and regular canonics schows different approches to the understanding and structuring of the space, related to the personal experience and congregational affiliation of authors.
