Аннотация:Using actual examples, we have studied the abilities of seismic-gravity modeling for territories that differ in the features of their physical and geological structure, scope of study, and level of data. It is shown that it is impossible to formalize a unified approach to developing a seismic-density model since the modeling technique is inevitably changed according to the physical and geological situation, as well as the completeness and the quality of a priori data. The degree of effectiveness of seismic-gravity modeling depends on the geological features of the cross-section, that is, the extent of compartmentalization of the geometry of the reflector horizons, the contrast and depth of the density boundaries, the complexity of the geological development of the region, and the acquisition parameters for the modeling.
