Аннотация:The global problem of the technogenic era on the Earth was noted as early as the beginning of the20th century, and in the middle of the last century, according to a number of scientists, humankind entered the Anthropocene, a new geological era. The purpose of this work is to develop a conceptual framework of the problem of the growing hazard of human-induced changes in geoenvironment. Based on the results of analytical studies and generalizations of published materials by Russian and foreign authors, the general characteristic of the problem of human-induced changes in the geoenvironment is given. The priority aspects in these changes and the patterns of some phenomena identified by the authors, including the increasing rate of land subsidence in megacities and large cities over time, are indicated. The relevance of introducing the concepts of maximum permissible loads and impacts on the geoenvironment and the categories of its human-induced changes, mapping both the vulnerability of the geoenvironment to human-induced impacts and the risk of its human-induced changes, is emphasized. The ways to solve the problem are listed, the main ones of which are the implementation of a systematic approach to the study of this problem; development of criteria for maximum permissible impacts on the geoenvironment and the categorization of its human-induced changes; arrangement of research at the regional and federal levels; creation of the Center for Monitoring the Geoenvironment to coordinate work on the systematic approach to the study of its human-induced changes; preparation of proposals for legislative consolidation of the provision on the prevention of human-induced loads and impacts on the geoenvironment that exceed permissible limits.
