Аннотация:Picosecond pulses, generated by parametric amplification of low-power CW 10um radiation, have been regeneratively amplified in a multiatmosphere CO2 laser to an energy of 25mJ circulating in the cavity.The characteristics of the injected and amplified pulses have been investigated.
Computer simulation of the parametric amplification process have been performed to investigate the potential possibilities of this method. The experiments on second harmonic generation of the output train 10um pulses in proustite crystal with efficiency 13% have been performed.
