Аннотация:A method for describing charge-up dynamics in Teflon films induced by electron beams from a microscopic viewpoint is proposed. The physical model of the approximate to eV-35 keV electron scattering in the insulating polymer has been used to calculate the average charge distribution inside Teflon films. The electric field and potential as a function of the injection time have been calculated from Poisson’s equations. The relaxation of the charge density under the action of its own electric field has nor been considered in the present method. The calculated dynamics of the surface potential is in good agreement with available experimental data.
