Аннотация:On the basis of numerical simulation the problem of omnidirectional reflection
(ODR) of radiation from aperiodic 1D photon crystal has been considered. It is assumed that
layers with different refractive indices alternate in a crystal according to the Fibonacci generation
scheme. It has been shown that we can considerably broaden spectral range with high refractive
index at different incidence angles by increasing in thickness of layers linearly or stepwise. This
increase in layer thickness also allows improving phase modulator characteristics.
