- Аннотация: We study the possibility of modeling a media with explicit fracturing by the finite element method (FEM) using CUDA. Our implementation of the FEM allows solving the direct problem for models with fracture systems in a reasonable time due to the use of a matrix-free algorithm, which has shown high efficiency of parallelization in a vectorized form. In our implementation, each fracture is specified explicitly; the size (length) of an individual fracture and its orientation in space can be varied. This paper analyzes the efficiency of our parallel implementation of the vectorized matrix-free FEM on GPUs for full-wave simulation in media with mesoscopic fractures.
