Аннотация:The intensive development of oil fields in the east of the northwestern part of Russia has led to the creation of a developed infrastructure and a sharp increase in anthropogenic pressure on ecosystems, including water. One of the main problems determining the anthropogenic load on natural systems is oil production and transportation, which increases annually. Emergencies related to oil production and transportation are particularly dangerous. The Pechora Basin is a special region, the uniqueness of which lies in the fact that the western and eastern boundaries of the distribution of many Siberian and European fish species belonging to the salmon-whitefish complex. In addition, traditional and management is largely preserved in this region, so it is important for local residents to preserve the territorial and water resources of their small homeland - this is vital for them.
