- Аннотация: There are many tumors and tumor-like masses of the pineal gland and the tissues surrounding it. These include germinomas, teratomas, non-herminogenic germ cell tumors, pineocytomas, pineoblastomas, astrocytomas, ependymomas, meningiomas, epidermoid and dermoid cysts, arachnoid cyst of the quadriceps, lipoma of the quadriceps plate, metastases, choriopapillomas, cavernomas and thrombotic aneurysm of the Galena vein [2]. Most of these tumors may require surgical treatment. The main approaches of such treatment will be discussed in present work.
