Аннотация:The spectral and photochemical properties of hybrid organic-inorganic nanosystems (HNSs) were investigated. HNS consisted of CdS quantum dots (QDs) functionalized with ligand containing the isothiouronium anchor group linked by polymethylene chain with photochromic merocyanine (MC). HNS synthesis was carried out via microwave-assisted onepot technique. Energy transfer from QD to MC in HNS was observed and resulted in QD fluorescence quenching and MC sensitization. Comparing to the free MC, trans-cis photoisomerization of MC in HNS was suppressed and its photodestruction was accelerated. Besides that, upon the HNS photolysis by visible light with energy higher than threshold, the photosensitized destruction of QD (which did not absorb the applied light) occurred. The observed effects are supposed to be caused by MC adsorption on QD surface that leads to the MC photoisomerization constraint and population of the surface electron trap states of QD.
