Аннотация:An approach to the simultaneous registration of ginsenosides in herbal extracts and commercial products was developed on the basis of liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry. The approach was validated for four major ginsenosides: Rg1, Rb1, Rf, and Re determined in extracts from roots of Panax ginseng, a phytoformulation and a tea produced from the roots. The limits of detection for two applied detection modes belong to the range 0.001–0.01 μg/mL. Samples were analyzed by reversedphase chromatography with a C18 adsorbent. Electrospray ionization in the positive ion mode and a hybrid lineartrap tandem mass spectrometry detection system were used to monitor compounds.
