Аннотация:The gas-separation behavior of a semicrystalline polydimethylsiltrimethylene—one of the family of silmethylene rubbers—has been studied. The permeability of O2, N2, and CH4 through this polymer at temperatures below and above the melting temperature of the crystalline phase has been investigated, and the activation energy of permeability has been calculated. The gas permeability of the semicrystalline polydimethylsiltrimethylene depends on the prehistory of the sample. At the melting temperature of crystals, the permeability
coefficients of the tested gases increase sharply. The transition of the polymer from the semicrystalline state to the melt leads to an appreciable reduction in the activation energy of permeability.
