- Аннотация: Remote assessment of soil salinity is a rather complicated task; therefore, work in this area is necessary and important. Knowledge of the relationship between spectral characteristics and soil salinity makes it possible to use satellite images for mapping and identification of salinity. This study is devoted to the development of models that can be used to assess soil salinity in the natural solonetzic complex (Republic of Kalmykia, Russian Federation) using multi-temporal high-resolution space images and principal component and multiple linear regression methods.
