Аннотация:In recent years, the term translingualism has gained currency among literary scholars.In translingual poetry, poets work within the same text with more than one language (orwith a nonnative language) to obtain freedom from cultural and monolingual restrictionsand identities. At the same time, translingualism manifests itself, among other things,in those formal and semantic effects that arise in the fluctuating zone of transitions betweenlanguages. This paper will focus on two types of repetitions in translingual writing: echoingand reverbing. Echoing provides phonetic resonances between morphemes and lexemesof different languages (operating on the paradigmatic axis), whereas reverbing places theserepetitions on the syntagmatic axis, making lexemes and phonemes reverberate in the unfolding textual space. The semantic effects of such poetic writing are caused by the overlapping of multilingual interfaces, the interaction between repetitive and resonant elementsof two or more language systems. A translingual poetic text can serve as a model for selftranslation as a formal and semantic transfer. Such textual practice could be called “translanguage writing”, meaning by trans-language a synthetic, hybridized, creolized languageand at the same time a language in which constant internal translation, recoding, and linguistic transfer is in effect.
