Аннотация:Analysis of determination peculiarities for the geocentric systems such as ITRF2000 indicates possible distorting effect of the system’s zero reference point residual velocity at interpreting the deformation field observed on the Earth surface using the global net of GPS stations. To avoid this distortion, the correction for zero reference point shift should be included in the number of estimated parameters simultaneously with calculating the Eulerian vectors describing the momentary mutual motion of stable fragments of the Earth surface. This approach was tested for correcting the different a priori reference frames: ITRF2000, NUVEL-1A and the so-called ’immobile’. The tests yielded the identical resulting estimates for large-scale motions of the Earth surface. The stability of the suggested method and high resolution of the contemporary global GPS system is shown, including its segment in Northern Eurasia.
