Аннотация:The results of the study of the photophysical and thermal properties of two new highly luminescent oligophenylene derivatives of 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole with branching centers based on 1,3,5-trisubstituted benzene are presented. These studies in combination with DFT-calculations have shown that the presence of branching centers based on 1,3,5-trisubstituted benzene causes differences in absorption characteristics and similarity of emission properties of synthesized luminophores. High molar extinction coefficients (up to 15×104 M-1 cm-1) in the medium UV-range and blue-green emission with quantum yields of 79-93% allow them to be considered as promising components of wavelength-shifting materials for optical devices. The work was supported by the grant of the President of the Russian Federation for state support of leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation No. NSH-3843.2022.1.3 using the equipment of the Center for Polymer Research of ISPM RAS with the financial support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation (topic FFSM-2021-0005). Synthesis of 4,7-bis(4-(trimethylsilyl)phenyl)-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole was carried out with the support of the grant of the Russian Scientific Foundation No. 22-13-00255.
