Аннотация:In this paper, we consider a model equation that describes ion-acoustic waves in a plasma taking into account strong nonlinear dissipation and nonlinear sources of general form as well as strong space-time dispersion. For the corresponding initial-boundary value problem in a bounded three-dimensional domain with homogeneous Dirichlet-Neumann conditions on the boundary of this domain, we obtain sufficient conditions for the blow-up of the solution. We also obtain an estimate for the existence time of the solution. Finally, we prove that, for any initial data in H20(Ω), there exists a local-in-time strong generalized solution, i.e., we prove that the blow-up time of the solution is always nonzero
