Аннотация:The authors study the effect the parameters of the chemical vapor infiltration of a tungsten powder has on its depth of infiltration and the mechanical properties and density of the resulting blanks. It is found that the depth of infiltration depends on the rate of chemical vapor deposition of tungsten. The maximum bending strength is achieved on a sample obtained at 450°C and a gas pressure of 133 mbar. Chemical vapor infiltration is promising for developing the technology of the additive manufacture of parts from tungsten and composites based on it.
