Аннотация:Climate change in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra is a factor affecting the socioeconomic development of the region, as well as its ecological state. Being within the regions of the Far North and equated localities, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug is among the most vulnerable subjects of the Russian Federation in Western Siberia (and the entire country) to climate change. Changes in major meteorological characteristics of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug are estimated from the data of instrumental measurements over 1960–2021. The statistical analysis showed warming tendencies through out the region, an in crease in annual total precipitation, a decrease in wind speed, and some others trends. Changes in extreme values of air temperature, wind speed, and precipitation amounts are also analyzed. The statistical significance of the observed trends is assessed.
