To ensure economic development and competitiveness of agro-industrial production in the digital economy, scientifically-based results are needed that illustrate the advantages of such structures and stimulate agro-industrial farms for digital transformation. The goal is to develop a concept for the formation of a model for managing the digital transformation of an agro-industrial cluster, reflecting a set of design solutions, technical means, methods of organization and management that ensure a given level of production, safe and reliable delivery of all necessary resources and finished products at the right time, the required quality and quantity with minimal costs. costs. The solution to this issue is based on the use of economic and mathematical modeling tools. The work also used research methods such as generalization and synthesis, system analysis, modeling, abstraction and optimization methods. Business processes characteristic of one of the branches of agro-industrial production - crop production - are identified, which serves as the basis for the digital transformation of organizational processes in the structural divisions of the cluster being formed. The implementation of the proposed concept serves as the basis for making informed management decisions regarding the structure of the cluster being formed and the feasibility of its digital transformation.
