Аннотация:We report optical spectroscopy and photometry of the recent M31 nova candidate M31N 2014-06b (= PNV J00422866+4114126), discovered on 2014/06/27.999 UT by Kamil Hornoch and Hana Kucakova (ATels 6278, 6279). The data were obtained on 2014 Sep. 1.77 UT using the Russian BTA telescope equipped with the SCORPIO spectrograph. Photometry of the nova obtained shortly prior to the spectroscopy gave B = 20.0 +/- 0.2, V = 20.5 +/- 0.25, R = 19.6 +/- 0.15. Spectra were taken with a spectral resolution of 5 A in the spectral range of 4060 - 5810 A. The strongest emission lines are Hbeta, Hgamma, Hdelta, the Bowen blend and HeII 4686 A. There are also numerous NII lines. We have measured the Hbeta line parameters: FWHM = 2650 km/s, EW = 136 A, and radial velocity is -430 km/s. We conclude that the nova belongs to the He/N class. However the nova had T2 = 28 +/- 3 days (based on unpublished R-band photometry by K. Hornoch), that is rather slow fading for the He/N class.
