Аннотация:A number of experiments on production of carbon nanotubes in CVD-process were carried out at the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, Russia, with emphasis on the modeling synthesis kinetics of carbon nanotubes, nanofibers via catalytic methane decomposition. A new computer program made it possible to simulate process of formation and growth of carbon nanotubes on the microlevel. The number of layers was accounted for when modeling multilayer nanotubes growth and formation. The angle of graphite planes' slope to the fiber axis was considered in modeling growth and formation of fishbone-type nanofibers. The computer program can be used to modeling other processes when parameters of catalyst and parameters of the obtained product are known.
