Estimates are made of the secular changes of angular orbital elements and the elements of rotational motion caused by nonspherical characteristics of planets. A solution is used of the equations averaged by Gauss' method for the model problem of an axisymmetric rigid body in the gravitational field of a homogeneous sphere. The largest orbital perturbations occur for Jupiter, and it is shown that as a result of a planet's nonspherical nature, the line of nodes of the orbit executes oscillatory motions on the standard plane of the ecliptic with the period of the planet's precessional motion.
