Аннотация:In order to intensify milling process of ferromagnetic materials the magnetovibrating technology was used. The technology is based on the principle of repeated powder returning into milling area; and on increasing of relative powder particles motion speed and impact frequency with beaters. Magnetovibrating layer (MVL), i.e. dynamical steady hovering of ferromagnetic particles of disperse heterogeneous system in the interpolar area of electromagnets is created. By means of varying parameters of electromagnetic field affecting on the disperse system, the milling process of barium ferrite powder was studied. The modes of MVL providing maximal powder defloculation and repeated powder returning into milling area were used during research. The influence of electromagnetic effect on milling level was estimated, the characteristics of grain size distribution: variance and median, were investigated.
