- Аннотация: The methods for the monitoring of various types of external corrosion of underground pipelines are investigated. The various scenarios where electrical resistance soil corrosion probes can be used for corrosion damage assessment or for the control of cathodic protection effectiveness are described. The possibilities of using hydrogen probes for the prediction of stress corrosion cracking of pipelines are discussed. © 2015 University of Manchester and the authors.
