Аннотация:The quality of a simulation depends on knowledge of possible situations affecting the values of input model parameters. Either the variation of a property or its coefficient of variation can be used as a measure characterizing the spatial distribution of soil properties on a territory. It was shown that soil properties could be classified into several groups. In the first group, coefficients of variation increase when the average values increase. In the second group, coefficients of variation decrease when the average values increase. In the third group, variability changes in a complex way; it increases in some ranges and decreases in others. Finally, there is a large group of properties for which the change in variation with an increase in average values cannot be determined unambiguously.
