Аннотация:The existence of "dark" bacteriochlorophyll state of LH2 complex was shown by femtosecond absorption spectroscopy. Spectral and kinetic properties of this state were studied. The broad absorption band of the "dark" state is in the range of 620-720 nm. Excitation of the "dark" state is possible via the direct two-photon excitation, or by relaxation of the excitation energy from the upper levels. The relaxation time constant of the "dark" state in the monoexponential approximation is close to 2 pc.
