Аннотация:The European Palaeobiogeographical Area (EPA) includes all the sedimentary basins of the northwestern and eastern Europe. Two palaeobiogeographical provinces were distinguished inside EPA on the base of foraminiferal data - West and East Provinces. The latter containes elements of the relatively warm Peri-Tethyan fauna mixed with the cooler West Siberian fauna. Five transgressive peacks are established in the Late Santonian-Maastrichtian interval on the base of Planktonic/ Bentonic foraminiferal ratio in East European Province. Three of them are traced in West Europe and in the USA. These events reflect eustatic sea-level fluctuations. Palaeobiogeographical reconstructions were made by means of the new foraminiferal scheme for EPA. It is very detailed and consists of 18 biostratigraphical units - zones and subzones.
Key words: Late Santonian-Maastrichtian, palaeobiogeography, biostratigraphy, Foraminifera, European and Siberian palaeobiogeographical areas.
