They said thet pilgrim's guidebooks were dull. They have a lot fantasy, and did not describe the places, and thet's why the notes were not quite ufesul for travellers. But they were not guides for pilgrims. The pilgrim's notes hafe never been written for those who had any intend to follow them. There are guite different genres. Later this genre had been changed in philosophy's masterpices instead of geographical works. All pilgrim's guidebooks are the same kind. It did not matter who was the author, ordinary pilgrim or famous philosopher.
This book is dedicated to the memory of the brilliant liturgist Alexey Dmitrievsky.
