Albert Szent-Gyorgyi stated in 1957 that water is the mother and the matrix of life. Water is able to convert low-density energy intothem into high-density energy used for performing biological activity. Professor Vladimir Voeikov explains in his lecture at the "New frontiers of biology" Congress held in Rome on 2 March that due to the newly discovered properties of water -- the most essential biological molecules it may be explained how living organisms live in the most extreme environment such as very deep sea for example.
