Immobilization of SERS – active nanomaterials in order to prepare substrates for optical analysis is known to be an effective way to expand and advance practical abilities of SERS. Ag@GO nanocomposites surplus additional excellent properties to prepare multifunctional materials such as variable hydrophobicity, an increased specific surface area, hypothetically, affinity to analytes complementary to superficial groups provided by artificial chemical modification. For the first time, a one - pot preparation procedure of SERS -active nanocomposites of silver and graphene oxide (GO) is developed by using of a versatile and effective method of ultrasonic aerosol spray pyrolysis (ASP) of GO suspension in diaminsilver complex aqueous solution allowing to tune silver nanoparticle load, sizes and an overall specific area of the nanocomposite
