In wireless ground-based information transmission systems the multipath signal propagation is a significant factor affecting the correct determination of the radio signal parameters and, as a consequence, its successful decoding. In this paper, we investigate a method for reconstructing the channel characteristic based on approaches of the theory of potential noise immunity. An algorithm that implements this method was used to for modeling to restore the static channel characteristic with additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN). The most attractive task from the point of view of evaluating the practical application of the method is to restore the characteristic of the quasi-stationary channel. The simulation results allow us to talk about the prospects of the considered method for use in real ground-based information transmission systems.
