ABSTRACT: To withstand the challenges of globalisation and market fundamentalism, overcome the totality of the market and global capital the countries of Eurasia should develop and adhere to international, supra-national social, environmental and humanitarian norms, programs of selective programmable development regulators. Such development can be implemented within the framework of the “Economy for Humans” strategy aimed at overcoming such contradictions of globalisation as the contradiction of the social orientation of development and global competitiveness, the contradiction of national-state regulation and the global market, and others. “Economy for Humans” is: 1) the “economy of Freedom”: from the negative freedom of the private owner to the freedom of social creativity; 2) “Solidarity economy”: programmable development within the framework of public-private partnership; 3) “economy of Justice”: from non-equality in poverty to social guarantees for realizing the potential of each person; 4) “economy of Development”: not only an equitable distribution, but also a qualitatively new creation, when Man is not a means of enriching capital, but the goal of development. One of the examples of international cooperation projects, during which it is possible to implement the “Economy for Humans” strategy, is the “New Silk Road”. The success of any economic project is determined not only by finance, technology, management, but necessarily by the new ideas and creative potential of its performers. The project ‘New Silk Road’ should be a space of the dialogue between different cultures and the space of this dialogue should be the development of human being as the subject of socio-economic development of society. Social and humanistic orientation of culture, socio-economic interactions between different countries builds basis for development of each national state and peaceful cooperation in Eurasia. KEY WORDS: Contradictions of globalisation, reforms, “Economy for Humans”, cooperation in Eurasia, New Silk Road, socio-cultural problems of cooperation.
