Аннотация:It is well known that a heart rhythm generation in mammals is associated with a sinoatrial node (SAN). Nevertheless, additional regions in a supraventricular myocardium may act as pacemakers and underlie both a normal rhythm and pathological heart excitation. It has been shown, that one of such extranodal pacemakers may be located in atrial cardiac tissue that surrounds coronary sinus (CS). Although, phenomenon of the CS derived rhythm in human is well known for a long time, the electrophysiological properties and nerve control of pacemaking cells in CS are investigated quite poorly both in a human and laboratory animals.
